The Duyvis/Wiener laboratory has a goal to service their customers with tailor made solutions. In this laboratory we can perform: route-analysis, specialized research, recipe development/ingredient research and training all focussed on the requests of our clients.

The laboratory is divided in two parts: pilot plant and analytic laboratory.

The standard tools of the pilot plant consists of:

  • laboratory liquor grinding line, the Lab-Nibrotom and W3
  • laboratory press installation
    Cocoa lab
  • laboratory powder grinding installation
  • laboratory ball mill; W-1-S, W3 and W5
  • laboratory Refiner Conche
  • laboratory Uniroto system
  • Taste-changer system
  • Qchoc; QC-400 chocolate installation
    Choc lab

The analytic part uses the following instrumentation:

  • Differential Scanning Calorimeter

  • Laser Diffraction Meter

  • Viscosity Meter

  • Moisture Meter

  • Soxhlet Extraction Installation

  • Microscopic research
