Many varieties in cocoa powder are possible, like colour, fat content and taste, all depending on  the origin of beans and previous processes. But for all varieties the same quality properties apply:

The finished product has to meet

  • The right product fineness;

  • An intense and deep light- or dark- brown colour during the complete shelf live;

  • Good free flowing properties and free of lumps;

  • Without contaminations.

All of these quality properties are mainly determined within the cocoa powder process and can be achieved with the Duyvis CPP, Compact Powder Plant.
